IN A FLASH: A Ruck for Vets and Pets

The Ruck for Pets and Vets saw participants march with full backpacks from Downtown žžÀ² and through the university campus to finish at Dix Stadium. Items in the backpacks, and proceeds from the event, will assist in matching veterans and first responders with companion animals.

'A Supportive Community Makes It a Lot Easier'

The transition can even be more difficult for LGBTQ+ students, particularly for those who have recently "come out." Ken Ditlevson, director of žžÀ² State's LGBTQ+ Center, talks about the many resources available at žžÀ² to support them.
